Time flies..

We have always heard of the cliches - "Time flies".. Indeed, it is a bitter sweet reality.
I was organizing my photos to my hard disc and had the chance to view back the moments that I took in my daily life. I was so shocked to realize the hard truth of how time passes so quickly this year. I don't remember exactly when some of these pictures were taken, but I can't believe that it was almost 12 months ago.

Especially these two GIFs that me & bonzi took in Coffee Coffea.... My goodness, these were one year ago? I still can't believe it.

This year, I've been diving myself into work. I honestly do not regret it, because i truly think that this is what we suppose to do during our 20-s. However, i felt i can do better by managing my time wiser. I could have turned my imaginary dreams into reality if i could be more discipline 😒

Goals..goals..goals..
Definitely the common ones - fitness, healthier lifestyle!

I dont think i can take picture like that anymore until i cut down few more kgs 😐

You know how we always love to take picture when we work out? I do the same thing too! I won't say I used to work out a lot, but at least once a week? What makes me sad is, I cant find a good amount of workout pictures from my phone memories.....which means.. I don't exercise as much anymore!

On the good side, I realized that, I actually traveled a lot this year 💘
So happy for that!

oppa moments

Melbourne Trip was def the highlight of our year
I'm considering to write a blog post to reminisce all the good moments we had together.
Meeting old friends, having good food, and experiencing a very different culture.
Baby, can we do another trip again 😻

Another beach vacay with the fam @ Boracay.

One more month left til 2018.
Not too sure if I still have the time to plan another short getaway with gene 😏

Sometimes i felt life can be so stressful, but after writing all the good stuff here, i felt so amazing!
I should really make blogging my habit. Hopefully it helps to remember the good moments better & keep up the good vibes! 💃

It's Monday again!
Let's make the week gooooooddddd

A Few Things I've Learned About Work

Hello peeps, how long have I abandoned this place again? Always wanted to come back for my 2015 recap but I'm really too busy/ lazy for that ;x What brought me here today is because I was really angry at work during noon. Some funny concerns just stuck on my mind & I couldn't get it off. So, i read quotes from Pinterest to calm me down. This is usually what i do when I need some life inspiration or motivation to overcome a moody day.

#1 Calm your tits

This GIF literally shows my inner feeling when someone creates an irrelevant issue out of nowhere or speaks naively. Some issues are never issues.. Most of the time, it really is a person who complicates everything and make everything seems so difficult. From as simple as 1 + 1, suddenly it can become as complex as 2x = 2+1/2 kind of equation. It really annoys me sometimes as it will definitely slower down the whole process and make it a none productive day.

& I realized, the best solution is to calm yourself down and avoid being one of the knots in the situation. Check precisely what is the "issue" and find out whether it really exists or just plainly misunderstanding from one party. If it is just a mistaken act, give facts and reasoning to clear up the whole situation and move on!

#2 Stay out of Drama

I know, it is very hard to not kepoh around to find out more about your colleagues and insights of what is happening in the office. People might just hang around you to tell you stories about what had happened or opinions of others to some people. You know what, just listen and not to give comments so easily. Think well whether this is a correct source or just plain jealousy. You won't know how true is it.

#3 Know your job scope and do it the best you can

I'm not too sure about you, but I'm in the stage of putting higher values on my career. I will make sure I complete my daily tasks effectively, and always keep an eye on my KPIs. Thankfully my partner Tzia thought the same way too. We rarely work overtime because we focus so much on efficiency. We delegate our jobs properly and everyone has a correct direction to strive for.

Why is it so important to me? Not only for the sake of good money, but appreciating the self satisfaction we got when we hit our target, getting compliments from stakeholders, won a pitch and so much more. These are the little things that encourage us to do more and work smartly.

Also, enjoy it when shit happens because in the end of the day, you will be able to find a solution anyhow. Love yourself, and love what you do too! You need to agree on the what you've done yourself, before others recognize your work.

Summary:-
Be good and the good will come to you. Your common sense might not be the same with others' common sense. Don't be difficult to people because everyone is raised differently. Have manners even when you are filled with angers. These are my daily reminders to instill more positively in life and try to make everyone happy working with me too! T_T

Of course there are times when I desperately need to release, I am grateful to have my beans - Tzia & Wenie to back me up! #morethanjustcolleagues

Celebrating #Samrene ☺

Hello beautiful earthings!

Suddenly have the urge to blog about the recent wedding i attended with sammy!  It was a beautiful and heart-warming wedding of his cousin brother and his church buddy. How rare is that to have a wedding where you know both the bride and the groom so well #amazing ♥

Planned to depart to Malacca on Friday night, but plan changed as both of us are very tired after whole day of work. Brosey was with us too! So we spent our night watching Forrest Gump together. It was such a great movie. Nothing too fancy but very inspiring :)

Woke up early the next day and get ourselves prepare for the wedding mass at 11am. Baby take the driving role, and ambrose sat beside him. I was enjoying the view and music at the back throughout the journey. Thanks darling for the safe ride! hehe

We managed to reach Malacca within 1hour without any traffics. Baby brought us for breakfast at some random stall and it was soooo good! I was too hungry to snap a pix before demolish the holy moly fish kiao mee! love it!

Here come's the beautiful couple, exchanging vows in the beautiful church. It was my first time attending wedding like that and i love it. It was romantic and touching :)  I thought maybe, I was emotional because I know the weds in person. I hold back my tears sometime :/

After the wedding ceremony, we have some free & easy time! We went to sammy's cousin house to have our buffet lunch and chill a little with his friends in Mou's newly opened studio.

Looking at sammy doing what he passionate about makes me love him even more  ♥_♥

Around evening time, baby and I went to the dinner place to help out on the set-ups and decorations. I was so scared that I screw up!! The bride and the groom had so much confidence in me at getting this done. Gladly, it turns out quite well ☺☺ Loving the flower pom pom so much! & the fan complement the pom pom nicely! Thankful to have these girls who helped out a lot a lot too. What I did was just arranging the decoration accordingly, the girls had already folded the materials nicely!

When everything's done, we rushed back to prepare for the night. Let the following pictures do the talking :) I would like to say sammy's parents are the most sporting parents I've ever met - young at hearts. So lovely & cute!! Also, another highlight of the night is that every member in the groom's family performed during the wedding T_T How amazing ☺

I personally love this picture a lot :P
The couple on the left (Mou + Hui Hui) has been together for 8 years!
& the couple on the right ( Me + Sammy) has been together for 6 years ☺☺♥
To many more loving years together!! hehe

After the wedding dinner, some of us went to a pub in Jonker Street for 2nd round. It was really fun. I was a little tipsy over the wine I had during dinner time, but still keep the beer pouring in the pub.

My baby is a born performer. Look how happy he was when he performed :P #socute!

That was the first night ♥ I'm sure that everyone had fun!

We did not spent too long in the bed as we gotta go for Sunday mass. I am not a catholic but very happy to be able to join the event. After that, we went for breakfast, and again it is fish kiao mee! It was not as good as the first one i had, but apparently it is very famous among the locals!

The clouds were big and fluffy that day! #instantmoodbooster
Before we head home, we dropped by the-must-go coconut milkshake! Had a good catch up with Mou and Hui Hui and we proceed to Mitsui before going home ☺☺

I was very excited to go to Mitsui because I heard that the sneakers are awesome and very very affordable. However, i end up with empty hands but the brothers brought themselves plenty of apparels and sneakers T_T #sadme

That's a quick update from me, hope to do this more often!
